French Seafood Restaurant

At L’Ecluse we pride ourselves in our use of local produce and freshly caught sustainable fish and seafood.  Our menu showcases our style offering simply cooked french cuisine using only the freshest ingredients seasonally available.  Our location next to the quayside of Port Maubert – a working fisherman’s port allows us to offer our guests Gironde Estuary fish, caught daily by our local fishermen. Specialities include Meagre, Sturgeon, Sea Bass & Lamproie.

Our French cuisine classics also include Entrecôte and Duck Confit – all freshly cooked to order.  Nadège Camus the Patron and Head Chef regularly changes the menu to suit the season offering classic cooking with French flare.   Enjoy a choice of three set menus or our seafood platters in our traditional country style dining room or on our large open air terrace next to the lock and quaysite of Port Maubert.
